DARK AND LIGHT, LIGHT AND DARK

 Something burst

Deep inside my heart

I just wanted to move, to run.

I couldn’t think straight.

Maybe I wanted to hurt myself

Or maybe I wanted to feel better.

I was bad at giving up.

That was probably it.

Right after dawn, the streets were mostly empty,

The dawn, even it began to seem dark and gloomy.

If my dark, useless world is such a hated place,

Then there is no point to my existence.

And then I found something…

Someone was counting on me.                        Like me, he wants to find his way again.

Once in my miserable hallowed world,           He’s entrusting me with everything.

Here is the person who needs me                          Even just a little it makes me happy

as the air that I took for granted.                         Someone needs me… me.

                                                                   That’s right, I remember

There was a time,

A moment,                                                 

That somebody needed me.         

Even if no one remembers,

Even if you yourself forget,

That moment still happened.

I know it did…

It’s true,

This isn’t a world enveloped in light

And yet, there’s more to it than that.

The world is more than darkness,

It isn’t only black…
